Open letter from the Council of St John the Baptist Church

After a recent inspection, the church need to find over £30,000 to pay for restoration and repairs to the church roof. The church council are appealing to residents, who can share all aspects of church life however they feel comfortable, to help with fundraising.

New bus timetable

Arriva have updated their bus timetable for the local village bus services - the one particular change is the early morning service to Milton Keynes.

Housing needs survey

In January, a housing needs survey was distributed to every household in the village. The results from the survey show that there are 18 people with a housing need who need to move in the next 5 years, want to live in the parish of Hartwell, have a local connection to Hartwell, and have a housing need.

Damage at Ashwood Acre - Pocket Park

There have been two incidents of damage at The Pocket Park. In the first incident, individuals have graffittied the grass area, picnic bench and stumps, and in the second incident a fire was lit on the picnic bench.
